Who is Leslie Callaway?
What is Mon Ami?
Founded in the fall of  2001,
Mon Ami  Ministry
(d.b.a. Mon Ami - A Gracious Fare)
became Leslie's desire to give women the sense of being loved by providing a time of care and elegance reaching out to ladies, making them a guest in their own home.  This was to model Jesus in that He gave His heart before giving His message.  Mon Ami is about reaching out in friendship with a cup of coffee or tea.  From time to time everyone needs a friend to confide in or be transparent with.  Mon Ami is a wonderful means of getting the ministry out of the church and into the community by sharing God's love in an relatable, unique, and honorable way.
Leslie is the wife of Rev. Mark Callaway, a practicing attorney who also serves as a pastor of Rensselaer First Assembly of God church.  She is a mother of two - Nathan, age 23, and Shannon, age 15 - and a home-school mom.

For years Leslie has been active with kids, youth, and women's ministry, as well as music ministry.  She founded Mon Ami - A Gracious Fare in the fall of 2001 after years of successfully aiding women to battle the obstacles of loneliness and the impersonal nature of our times.  Leslie desires to give women a sense of being loved and to provide a time of care and elegance by reaching out to ladies in their home.

Leslie is a contributing author of 'A Quiet Escape' and 'Times Of Refreshing' published by Onward Books.  She is a frequent speaker at churches, women's groups, and district and regional events.

Leslie is a singer and an award-winning songwriter who is presently an instructor in speech level voice training.  She was also Miss Southwest Michigan and a semi-finalist in Miss Michigan of the Miss America pageant in the 80's.
